My son signed up for private classes in the fall of 2015 and he loved it so much that we signed him up for another group of sessions. I love how much fun my baby has. He really loves it. It’s so cute. As soon as my wife started practicing signs with him at home, he started doing them. He signs for “more” and “milk.” I think Mikey has grown to love music. Also, he was only 8 months old when he started class, so the fact that he is able to use a few signs to communicate with us is pretty awesome. I thought the classes would be fun and cute, but didn’t realize he was actually going to learn as much as he has. My wife did good signing him up for this class. Mr. Sean Maguire

ASL Discoveries has been working with three of our learning centers for the last 6 months. Working with ASL Discoveries has been an amazing experience for both our children and parents. ASL staff members are professional, welcoming, and delightful. Our parents love their curriculum, informative newsletters, monthly personalized notes, and hands on interactions with the kids! ASL Discoveries has made an outstanding and positive impact in our student’s lives. Our children are eager and excited to participate during sign language sessions. Our parents have shared that our students are signing at home, using gestures like “eat” and “more”. Ms. Yolanda Diaz

I highly recommend ASL Discoveries! My daughters love the program they provide. We invited some friends over for an ASL Discoveries playdate . The kids loved the music used when teaching the kids sign language. The staff is amazing with children and kept their attention the entire time. My four year old picked up some of the signs very quickly and we incorporate the signs learned every time we play the ASL Discoveries CD. We highly recommend ASL Discoveries and you will too! We have been working with ASL Discoveries since September 2015. I love that it is hands on, educational, musical and above all FUN for the kids!!! Our students are learning new skills every time we have our class. They are learning not just sign language, but are also developing new vocabulary skills. ASL Discoveries offers new themes every 6 weeks, which the children JUST LOVE! Ms. Julia Malaya

Our facility has been using ASL Discoveries since January 2016. It has been enlightening not only for the students, but for the teachers as well. The kids are engaged and full of spirit as they are learning a new language. The best part of ASL Discoveries is that kids are introduced to a new language as they grow and develop. It gives them the opportunity to communicate nonverbally and use it wherever they may go. The students use sign language towards their teachers as well. It shows that they are intrigued and catching onto the language in a fun-filled way! Ms. Patricia Nicholson

Kiddie Academy of Wading River and all of its staff, students and parents have fallen completely in love with ASL discoveries school programming. The staff have an amazing way of working with the children; keeping them captivated while bringing the art of signing to life. Our students look forward to “Miss Heather Thursdays” and the parents are speechless at all they have learned in just a few short months. As the Director of Kiddie Academy I strive to bring only the finest additions into my program and ASL is by far one of the BEST additions I have ever added. Ms. Christina St Nicholas

We have been working with ASL Discoveries since September 2015. We contracted for the full school year and offer this speciality class once a week for all children, ranging in age from 2-5 years. ASL Discoveries uses music to teach sign language and the classes are interactive, educational, uplifting and fun! We particularly appreciate the fact that the class is catered to our youngest learners (2’s) and also very well suited for our oldest students (4-5’s). It is rare to find a specialty class that interests ALL the children, but ASL Discoveries manages to do so, seemingly effortlessly. The ASL Discoveries team is so well equipped in working with all ages that we had absolutely no difficulty integrating the class into all our curricula. The children love ASL class! They light up when their teacher arrives and you literally see the excitement on their faces. The teachers captivate and hold the their attention, week after week, and have done so since the very first class. The children picked up on the signs immediately and have not only retained this new knowledge, but build their ASL vocabulary every week. By the end of the first semester, most of the children knew at least 20 signs and how to use them appropriately.

In addition to the positive impact the program has had on the children, the parents are thrilled we offer this class. The ASL team sends us lesson plans and themes (with detailed pictures of the signs the children will be learning) which we in turn send home to the parents. The parents really appreciate the opportunity to continue their child’s learning and practice all the signs at home. The ASL team is coherent in their lesson plans and techniques. If we have a new teacher fill in, she picks up exactly where the prior teacher left off. It is clear that the staff is well trained, which provides this consistency across the board. The directors of the company are VERY responsive and accommodating to our needs. Here at Lolly’s, we love ASL Discoveries and are big advocates of exposing young children to the art of sign language as part of their early childhood education. Ms. Ilana Maguire
